![]() ![]() ![]() My only issue with this book is that I disagreed with some of the finger markings since every once in a while they were wildly awkward, but that was on the rarer side, and comfortable finger placement always varies from person to person. I was also glad to see that the collection wasn't overrun with overplayed pieces (at least, to my knowledge), which makes it great for sight reading practice. I appreciated the exploration of styles, from Baroque to more Modern composers. I read this book in daily rotation with some actual sight reading books and I found that reading these 'actual pieces' (rather than exercises) increased my excitement to practice and reinforced what I learned in my sight reading exercise books. There is a good mix of easier pieces and more challenging ones, especially further on, with the more Modern pieces.
